Ink drawing after Gustave Doré's The Deluge: an upturned face and a reaching hand among bodies tangled on the ground
The Deluge, after Gustave Doré — ink

I'm a software engineer who works end to end: I like owning a feature from the first sketch to the release, and I've spent eight years doing that across very different domains — an IoT platform for mines at Bosch, returns and carrier integrations at Cycleon and ReBound, inventory systems behind BESTSELLER's online stores, and now Unify at Bizzdesign.

Two things I'm best at. Design systems and components: at Bizzdesign I build the Angular component library, own the NX tooling around it, write the frontend guidelines and review against them, and work with the designers on tokens and theming. And data platforms: at Bosch I led the team that re-architected Smart Mine's IoT platform on Kubernetes and Kafka, so that sensors in mines across Brazil, Peru, Chile, South Africa and Japan could be monitored in real time.

Lately that has meant building the realtime side of Unify — the shared y.js document, the WebSocket transport and presence, and the diagram editor itself — so that architects and business teams can work on one diagram at the same time.

Away from the keyboard I play bass — metal, rock, Brazilian rock and funk — draw in ink and charcoal (Doré, cathedrals, the occasional monster) and lose evenings to games with friends. I'm Brazilian, from São Paulo, and have lived in the Netherlands since 2021.
